If you are looking for a dedicated trainer for your new (or old) dog, then you've come across the right place. My wife and I adopted a 4 year old spaniel mix that definitely need obedience training and we researched good dog training schools and decided upon something more one-on-one. Adam, the trainer, takes the time to meet with your furry friend and develops a training program specifically for you and your dog's needs. It was obvious the first time we met he has a special connection with dogs and so far has greatly improved the behavior of our little guy. Adam made himself available whenever if we had any questions and provided progress reports on how the training sessions went. If you want to make sure you provide the proper training your dog needs, I'd recommend this place completely.

I just wanted to write a note of appreciation for the excellent training work Adam did with Jacques, my mini schnauzer in puppy head start training class.
I got private sessions since my dog was getting his vaccines then and I didn't want him to be with other dogs. Adam is knowledgeable and obviously, loves dogs.
He was also flexible with my schedule which was nice too. In addition to excellent weekly training session according to schedule, he would give much excellent advice about socializing and other issues we had. He made an immediate connection with puppy and us.
The structure given to Jacques through training has benefited him and we and I are truly appreciative of Adam's fine work.
He also had nice gestures as the end, giving me a small gift for Jacques and very nice printed and framed picture of Jacques and me, plus a framed diploma for Jacques for finishing his first training period. My baby is educated now !

Our puppy just graduated from puppy head start and we couldn't be more pleased with the progress he made in 5 weeks.
As a rescue dog, who has been through multiple homes in a year, we knew our normal methods of stern voiced training wasn't going to work for our new un trusting skittish puppy.
While researching dog training options, I was concerned that the typical in store courses would not be a good match for us, so when I found an in home one on one training for not much more than the group sessions I decided to give it a try.
I really liked that Pawsitive offered a free in-home consultation, after meeting with Adam and expressing our concerns we knew he was the guy to help us.
He has previously worked with many shelter dogs and understands the needs of a how to bring out the willingness to learn in a shy, un-trusting shelter dog.
Our biggest concern was recall, as we were going on a camping trip and didn't want to have to pen or keep him on a lead for the entire time.
We didn't think it would be good for his confidence. Adam worked with us and our dog and helped us understand the best methods for training him. We were extremely proud and happy that we didn't have to use a pen or the leads at all.
He far exceeded our expectations and we credit Adam for the tips, tricks and tools he taught all of us. Adam knows you can't just train a dog, you have to train the owners too.
He helped us correct our errors to make a happier, more confident and well trained dog. The training was well worth the price for the results we have achieved with our dog. He is happier and more confident.
If we need more training we will definitely contact Adam.

To anyone out there looking for a great dog trainer, Adam is the right guy for the job. Recently our 5 month old Labrador completed Adam's 5 week program. The difference was day and night.
In the short few weeks, our puppy used to be moody and problematic but now he is obedient and fun.
During the 5 week program, there were occasions when our schedule conflicted and Adam was more than happy to reschedule our training without any hassle.
Overall Adam is extremely kind and friendly. If we had any issues or questions, Adam was only one text/email/phone call away.

We just finished our first training session with Adam of Pawsititve Interaction and we are very impressed by the progress our puppy Wrigley has made already!
Adam is absolutely wonderful not only with our dog, but also with us, he really takes the time to make sure that we understand every step of the training.
Wrigley is already sitting, laying down, and reliably coming when called, all after only the first training session! We are so impressed! Adam has also given us several tips on helping Wrigley improve his manners, such as keeping him from jumping on people and helping him learn what is appropriate to chew (toys!) and not (coffee tables, TV stands, people!), all of which are working great.
Adam provides a wonderful progress report after training, so we can see exactly what our and our puppy's strengths are and what we need to work more on, and he gave us personalized homework, so that we can continue to work on Wrigley's specific needs, which has really helped to solidify what we learn in training. We absolutely cannot wait to continue training with Adam, he is truly unlocking all of our puppy's potential!

Adam has done such a great job with our dog Martin. Martin can be so hardheaded and Adam is so patient with him (and us). He is good at giving really good job giving us simple direct instructions on how to teach Martin new commands. Plus he is always available to email or text if we have any questions between training sessions.

Adam is a wonderful trainer. Our dog, Tofu just had 2 private sessions with him. He already knows to sit, stay, focus and leave it. Adam is very knowledgeable with dogs.
He gives specific commands with detail homework instructions for I and my husband to practice after each training. He is also helpful to answer any of your questions by text or email.
He is flexible to work with your schedule. We highly recommend him for dog training. We are happy to see Tofu's continuous improvement after each training session.

a rescue and came to me very skittish and scared. You really helped me
understand and identify things that might trigger her fear, and you gave me
solutions to help her.

Just wanna update my review. We had our 2nd training session today, Adam taught our young lady to " leave it " on cue.
He practiced several times with her to ensure she learns this brand new command. So we took the puppy to the park in the afternoon, my puppy likes to put anything she discovers in her mouth outside, I understand it's common dog behavior, but you definitely don't want them to eat trash or something harmful .
So I used this command which I learned this morning. It surprised me she did listen and drop whatever is in her mouth immediately. How amazing!
